Privacy Policy

Aced Prep is operated by Aced Empire LLC. Questions about this policy or your information may be sent to david@aced.dev.

• Account information: name, email address, confirmation status, and an internal user identifier.
• Course and purchase information: enrollments, App Store product and entitlement status, and transaction identifiers needed to verify or restore access. We do not receive full payment-card details from Apple.
• Study activity: flashcard reviews, bookmarks, practice answers and attempts, scores, exam date, study preferences, and synchronization checkpoints.
• Exam results you report: the day you sat the licensing exam, whether you passed, an optional score, any notes about topics the course missed, and whether we may quote your result without your name.
• Study tutor questions: the questions you ask the study tutor, its answers and cited sources, and any rating you give an answer.
• Product interaction: app and build version, operating-system version, screen or feature events, course and release identifiers, timestamps, and a temporary app-session identifier.
• Support communications: the information you choose to include when contacting support.

We use information to authenticate accounts, deliver purchased or enrolled courses, synchronize and restore study progress, process diagnostics and practice exams, provide support, prevent fraud, secure the service, understand feature performance, and maintain accurate course releases.

The study tutor's answers are written by Claude, an AI model provided by Anthropic. The app asks for your permission before your first tutor question. When you ask, we send Anthropic your question, earlier questions and answers in the same conversation, the study card you are viewing, and passages from the course's reviewed sources. We do not send your name, email address, or account identifiers. Anthropic processes this information to generate the answer and, under its commercial terms, does not use it to train its models.

Your tutor questions, answers, and ratings are saved to your account so you can return to them, and our staff may review them to check answer quality and improve the course. Please do not include personal information in tutor questions. You can stop using the tutor at any time; deleting your account deletes your saved tutor conversations.

Apple processes App Store purchases and optional iCloud backups. Google processes Google Play purchases in the Android app. RevenueCat helps verify purchase entitlements. Anthropic generates study tutor answers as described above. Hosting, authentication, database, email, and monitoring providers process information only to operate Aced Prep. We may also disclose information when legally required or when necessary to protect users, the service, or the public.

We do not sell personal information, serve third-party advertisements, or use cross-app advertising tracking.

Study data may be stored on the device, in the learner account, and—when enabled—inside the learner's private iCloud account. We use access controls, encrypted network connections, and other administrative and technical safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Account and study information is retained while needed to provide the service. Deleting an account removes associated server-side learner data. Limited transaction, security, and audit records may be retained when required for financial, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal obligations.

You can update profile information, change your password, export or reset local study progress, control optional iCloud sync, restore App Store purchases, and permanently delete the learner account from the Account section of the app. You may also contact us to request access or correction where applicable law provides that right.

Aced Prep is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
